![]() Assuming the required files for the original MS dashboard to run are present, you should then be able to run it from Evox's dashboard. With the file in question being the renamed original dashboard. In my case, for example, there's a line in the evox.ini file that reads Assuming you still have the C drive backup from modding the Xbox, it should be as simple as FTPing those files back onto it (be careful to not to overwrite anything, and to rename the original xboxdash.xbe to something else like msdash.xbe), then making the appropriate changes to whatever. ![]() It's hard to say without knowing which particular dashboard comes up, but to switch my Xbox to hidef, I had to reinstall the original MS Dashboards (my default dashboard being Evox). I'm not a gamer, and am using xbmc simply to listen to music on my stereo and watching videos from my network - so i'm not too smart with this thing. With xbmc installed, if i turn on the xbox with the open tray button, it loads up a dash different than xbmc, and under settings/video i can set it to view 720p and 1080i but still, everytime i load up the xbox (in this dash, or xbmc), my maxent mx-42x3 displays that the monitor is displaying 480i. how do i reach the original ms dashboard? it is my understanding, that this is where i need to get to turn on these resolutions. Hey there- I've got an xbox with xbmc on it, and I'm trying to view 720p and 1080i on my plasma with the hd a/v pack.
